We teach kids balance and precision so they become water safe and faster.
USA Swim Academy is a reliable way for your child to learn to swim correctly, safely, and quickly. Our warm water pools and personalized lessons are often the solution when other lessons haven’t worked. We’ve taught at our Fort Collins location for over seven years and make swimming fun while building balance, performance, and safety.
Building Confidence in the Water
Four indoor warm-water pools help children gain confidence quickly. Private lessons and experienced instructors guide even distracted kids toward a lifelong love of aquatics. Our goal is to keep your child focused while developing joy for swimming and strong stroke technique.
Learn by Seeing
All swim tanks use instant video feedback in the pool and lobby so kids and parents can watch progress immediately. Mirrors on the pool floor allow instructors and swimmers to view technique underwater. Instructors demonstrate skills and help kids apply them right away, building confidence, balance, and proper technique quickly and safely. This video analysis is the same technology used by elite swimmers.
Parents Stay Involved
Parents can watch lessons on lobby displays and through viewing windows. Instructors gladly share skills so parents can reinforce learning at neighborhood pools.
Lifelong Swimming Skills
Water safety is only the beginning. Our stroke progression prepares swimmers to join local swim teams or enjoy swimming for life—competitively or recreationally.
PRIVATE LESSONS
We offer private lessons for children ages 3+. One-on-one instruction provides a structured learning environment, with discounts available for multiple weekly lessons. Private lessons are ideal for children with physical or social disabilities or those progressing quickly through skill levels. Lessons use pool mirrors, video, the river, and swim aids, and instructors tailor each lesson to the child’s physical, emotional, and social needs.
SKILLS TAUGHT
We teach water safety while focusing on the four competitive strokes: backstroke, freestyle, butterfly, and breaststroke. Swimmers learn these skills to join swim teams, compete in triathlons, or enjoy lifelong fitness.
SCHEDULING
Enrollment has a rolling start date, so swimmers can begin anytime. Lessons are scheduled monthly with a consistent day and time, and we recommend signing up 1–2 weeks in advance due to high demand.
Monthly tuition includes 4 private lessons and automatically reserves your child’s time until you notify us otherwise.
Cost: 20-minute lessons are $145 per month (4 lessons).
We charge each month’s lessons on the 1st of the month. If a family wants to stop mid-month, we do not prorate the missed lessons. It is best to stop lessons before the start of a new month if a family expects to miss more than one lesson.
We only prorate when a family joins us in the middle of the month.
CURRICULUM & CLASS LEVELS
Our curriculum is based on feedback from world-class swimmers, Olympians, and child-development-trained instructors. We stay current with competitive stroke analysis to ensure swimmers learn proper technique from the start.
Swimming is a lifelong sport that builds safety, confidence, and fitness. Our goal is to develop confident swimmers who carry that confidence into all areas of life.
Class Levels evaluate skill but can be taught during any private lesson time. Swimmers continue at their current level until ready to advance, without interrupting their lesson schedule.
